It seems like this happens because the script file contains DEFAULT x'00' instead of DEFAULT false

Fixed

Issues with persisting Unicode chars

It seems like some unicode strings do not roundtrip correctly. I think it may have to do to UTF8. REPRO: Create a table with VARCHAR(10) column and store 'Perché' Retrieve the value back and compare.
