iPhone, iPad and iTouch

Has any thought been given to running EffiProz on the iPhone, iPad or iTouch using Mono or MonoTouch?  Given the volume of sales of the iPad in recent months, the platform becomes compelling.

Hi Paul,

Yes, We are planning to support Mono, Mono Touch from out next major release. One thing I’m not that much sure about is the popularity of Mono.

Your popularity issue is valid, but I believe that the iPad changes everything.  And while I have no desire to learn how to code using Apple's Objective-C, I do believe that delivering a solution for an iPad is inevitable.  However, my current problem is that I do not have a database that will run on the iPad.

I don't see that much issues in porting. We should be able to make Mono Touch version available from next release.

Thanks,

Irantha

Any news about the MonoTouch version?

I think especially now (WP7 is comming) this would be a great thing.
Have one DB useable for iPhone and WP7 projects.

By the way - MonoDroid (atm at "CTP") would be the next.

Assuming I could have a DB for Android, iPhone / iPad and WP7 would definitely result in a "must have" :)

Greate Job!
